Join the Texas Repertory Theatre as they present “Shadowlands”, a stage performance opening Thursday, January 26, and running through February 18.

Shadowlands is William Nicholson’s play that tells the story of the life of one of the 20th Century’s greatest writers and scholars, C.S. Lewis, the renowned author of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters, Mere Christianity, and The Great Divorce.

It is an inspiring play about love, family and faith. As Lewis’ carefully guarded academic world as an Oxford professor is challenged by his friendship with Joy Gresham, an outspoken American poet, Lewis finds himself at a crossroads regarding the true meaning of life. The committed bachelor and Christian scholar begins an unlikely romance that raises elemental questions about God, love, life, death, happiness, and the meaning of family.

Show times are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 3:00 pm.

Tickets are $35 for adults, $31.50 for seniors and military personnel, and $17.50 for students. Group rates are also available.
