Keep Texas Beautiful is a statewide environmental and community improvement non-profit. The organization recently announced Cypress Montessori School director Ginger Bian as winner of the Sadie Ray Gaff Education Award.

The Gaff award is one of twelve categories in the Keep Texas Beautiful Youth and Educator awards which recognizes the efforts of educators and educational institutions that encourage youth involvement in preserving the natural beauty of Texas.

Are your children already tired of sitting at home this summer? A local YMCA branch will be offering full-day and half-day camp options for the next three months!

The YMCA will offer Camp Run-A-Muck for children ages 5-10 from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM June 18 through August 24. Facility members pay $160 per week for all-day camps, and $125 for half-day camps. Program members pay $185 for full-day camps and $155 for half-day camps.

According to the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce's website, "for twenty-five years, the Chamber has provided a collective voice for over five hundred members that promotes a pro-business culture" in the rapidly-growing Cy-Fair area.

The Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Christy Love as its Ambassador of the Year. Ms. Love is the general manager for Community Impact Newspaper for Northwest Houston. She has served as Chamber Ambassador for two years.
